Bigo Live Unites Global and MENA Creator Communities with Celebratory Galas in Seoul

The event was the grand finale to a two-part celebration that began with a dedicated gala for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, collectively honouring the platform’s most influential and impactful creators.
On 22 January, Bigo Live hosted its annual BIGO MENA Gala, a spectacular event that brought the region’s top talent together to celebrate their unique contributions. The gala underscored Bigo Live’s deep commitment to fostering local talent and building meaningful connections across the MENA region, honouring the creativity and dedication of its creators. By spotlighting these individual success stories, Bigo Live continues to solidify its role as a premier stage where regional creators can transform their passion into a global legacy.
The celebration reached its height the following day on 23 January at the KBS Hall in Seoul, where over 1,200 guests gathered for the BIGO Global Gala. This event was livestreamed to over 500,000 viewers worldwide. The night was filled with excitement, including a raffle draw that added to the celebratory atmosphere, and dazzling performances from South Korean girl groups FIFTY FIFTY and tripleS, alongside a diverse lineup of international artists.
Reflecting the theme ‘SEOUL LIGHTS, BIGO NIGHTS’, the evening’s highlight was the recognition of over 200 outstanding creators and families. Honours were given across Regional, Continental, and Global Top Awards, with fans and viewers from around the world playing a crucial role by casting their votes for key titles such as: ‘Most Popular Broadcaster of the Year’; ‘Most Popular Family of the Year’; and ‘Gala Star’ through the Bigo Live ‘vote box’.
