Nutanix and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture Sign MoU to Advance Digital Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence and Hybrid Cloud Capabilities

Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a leader in hybrid multicloud computing, and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) in Saudi Arabia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration aimed at advancing the Ministry’s digital infrastructure through hybrid multicloud technologies, strengthening business continuity and cybersecurity capabilities, and supporting the development of national technical skills.

The MoU was signed during LEAP Saudi Arabia 2026 in Riyadh by Dr. Abdullhameed Abdullah Aleliwi, Deputy Minister for Information Technology and Digital Transformation at the Ministry, and Talal Al-Saif, Regional Director for Saudi Arabia at Nutanix, demonstrating a partnership between government leadership and global technology expertise.

Under this agreement, the two organizations will jointly work to enhance the modernization and development of MEWA’s digital infrastructure, leveraging Nutanix’s platform for hybrid cloud computing across multiple environments and supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies. The collaboration will focus on enabling seamless operation and mobility of applications and workloads across data centers and different cloud environments, while providing secure and flexible infrastructure capabilities that support business continuity, disaster recovery, and bolster cybersecurity resilience. The MoU also emphasizes national capability development and knowledge transfer, supporting the growth of local technical expertise in hybrid multicloud computing and modern infrastructure management. This fosters long-term knowledge sustainability and advances the localization of technology.
