  • How do you foresee the collaboration between eWTPA and the Ministry of Media contributing to Saudi Arabia’s vision for a knowledge-based economy

First, we are committed to working very closely with the Ministry of Media to support them in building a further partnership with the entire media ecosystem in China.

On top of that, we would like to share our experience, our success story to our partners in the Chinese media sector to encourage them to invest and enter the Saudi market to expand their business as well.

Further than that, we’re launching an Asian expert community to promote talent development and create content for Arabic audiences.

  • What have been your latest activities within the region

We’ve made 18 investments so far, including Alibaba Cloud, J&T, Sahm and others which are doing extremely well. This has given us the confidence to announce our second fund, aiming for $1 billion. We’re also planning to invest in digital media and cloud solutions soon.

  • How do you see the role of commercial activities between China and Arab countries evolving in the coming years

We believe there’s a bright future for commercial and cultural exchanges between China and Arab countries. Progress has been slow in the past, but with support from leadership in both regions, we’re seeing positive developments. This signals good potential for future collaborations.
