CB2 was founded in 2000, 38 years after the first Crate & Barrel store. CB2 is a space for more modern and eclectic pieces and is driven by values of creative design at its core. The brand caters to a more urban-minded clientele

The values that drive our journey are climate neutrality: setting climate targets to reduce our carbon footprint, sustainable materials: using more sustainably sourced materials, ethical supply chain: supporting suppliers in continuous social and environment improvement, and circular solutions: exploring ways to replace single-use consumption
When it comes to the environment, our shopping bags and iconic boxes are made with renewable fiber that contains post-consumer recyclable material. We also use 100 percent recyclable tissue and sustainable Air Pads, Green Wrap and Macrofoam. Source-reduced and photo-degradable, our packaging requires less material and space–reducing waste, fuel, and delivery costs every day
Additionally, the energy efficient bulbs light our stores, displays and are packaged with eligible lighting purchases –increasing our store’s energy efficiency by at least 66%. For customers, we also offer Tala LED. Our Tala LED bulb sales support Tala’s Ten Trees program
