Kingdom of Bahrain to be guest country at SPIEF 2025

The Kingdom of Bahrain has been granted the status of guest country at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025, which will take place on 18–21 June.
Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee, stated:
“In recent years, Russia and Bahrain have significantly strengthened their economic cooperation, developing partnerships in key areas such as energy, high technology, logistics, and tourism. Both countries are actively working to expand trade and economic collaboration, launching joint projects across various sectors.
SPIEF serves as a crucial platform for dialogue between governments, businesses, and experts. In recent years, Gulf countries have increasingly used the Forum to establish mutually beneficial partnerships, and Bahrain is a prime example of this engagement. The Kingdom’s status as the guest country at SPIEF 2025 presents new opportunities to deepen economic ties, strengthen strategic partnerships, and elevate cooperation to a new level.”
“Relations between Bahrain and Russia continue to actively develop in cultural and humanitarian spheres. Bahrain has chosen the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum as a key platform to showcase our business, culture, and tourism to the Russian audience. We anticipate the participation of high-profile official delegations and leading Bahraini companies, and we are confident in the successful expansion of our presence in Russia while continuing to strengthen cooperation at all levels,” said Ahmed Al-Saati, Ambassador of Bahrain to Russia.
Bahrain’s national pavilion will serve as the central venue for showcasing the country’s investment potential, building business connections, and exchanging expertise with industry professionals. Forum participants will have the opportunity to explore cooperation prospects, particularly in tourism and cultural exchange.
