Schneider Electric Deepens Saudi Arabia Investment with Acquisition of Al Mayssan Technical Services

Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, today announced the completion of its acquisition of Al Mayssan Technical Services Company Limited (MTS), a Jeddah-based Saudi engineering specialist in control and automation for integrated, smart and sustainable buildings
Al Mayssan is now a wholly owned Schneider Electric company in Saudi Arabia. The acquisition expands Schneider Electric’s local capabilities across design and engineering, installation, commissioning, and operations and maintenance, strengthening its ability to support customers throughout the lifecycle of their projects. It also brings Schneider Electric closer to customers and projects in Saudi Arabia’s western region.
“Saudi Arabia is developing increasingly ambitious and sophisticated infrastructure, and customers need engineering expertise close to their projects alongside world-class technology,” said Mohamed Shaheen, CEO for Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bahrain and Yemen at Schneider Electric. “Al Mayssan brings an experienced Saudi team, deep market knowledge and proven delivery capabilities. By bringing our teams together, we can provide customers with more integrated support across the full project lifecycle while continuing to invest in local capabilities in the Kingdom.”
Al Mayssan provides engineering and technical services across smart buildings, industrial automation, data centers and critical infrastructure. Its capabilities span building management systems, industrial automation and SCADA, energy metering, lighting control, data center solutions, fire and life-safety systems, and security systems.
The acquisition builds on a longstanding relationship between the two companies. Prior to the transaction, Al Mayssan was a certified Schneider Electric EcoXpert partner for building management and home automation. Years of collaboration have established a strong foundation of shared technology expertise, engineering capabilities and customer relationships.
“Joining Schneider Electric marks an important new chapter for Al Mayssan, our people and our customers,” said Fayez Al Aswad, CEO at Al Mayssan Technical Services. “We have worked alongside Schneider Electric for many years. Bringing our local engineering and execution expertise together with Schneider Electric’s global technologies and capabilities will allow us to deliver even greater value for customers and contribute to the continued development of Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure.”
Al Mayssan will continue serving its existing customers, with continuity of service, project delivery and customer support remaining a priority throughout its integration into Schneider Electric’s Saudi business.
