Unfold a Memory: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Instax Bring Back the Joy of Printed Photos

moving from foldable camera canvas to instant photo keepsake in seconds
A generation that grew up creating on their phones is now leading a cool new trend: turning digital snapshots into tactile, physical keepsakes. Samsung Electronics MENA and Fujifilm Instax™ are bringing the two worlds together, pairing the new Galaxy Z Fold8 with the Instax Mini Link 3™ printer so an image can move from capture, to edit, to print in a matter of seconds.
The collaboration marks the first time the two brands have partnered across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It launches under the theme “Twice the Joy – Unfold. Capture. Print.”, following a memory from the moment it is created to the moment it is kept.
Built as a content-native phone, the Galaxy Z Fold8 matches how people create and consume content every day. Its 10:16 cover screen frames social stories the way they are meant to be seen, with no awkward cropping, while the 4:3 main screen opens into an expanded canvas for full-screen editing. With an advanced camera system and an expansive foldable display, users have the room to frame, review and reshoot, and Galaxy AI-powered creative tools let them crop, retouch and personalize their images at full size.
Sharing is just as immediate. With Quick Share, images move from the Galaxy Z Fold8 to the people nearby in seconds, whatever phone they carry, so a group photo reaches everyone in the room. Connected to an Instax Mini Link 3™ printer, a chosen frame becomes a physical print on the spot, ready to hand over.
The print then gives the photo somewhere to live: on a fridge door, above a desk, inside a phone case or in a wallet, where it stays in view long after the moment itself has passed.
The two palettes were designed to sit together. The Galaxy Z Fold8 comes in Lavender, Graphite, Cream and Pistachio, while Instax Mini Link 3™ printer comes in Clay White, Sage Green and Rose Pink, a shared family of soft, muted tones that pair in any combination. Match Pistachio to Sage Green, Cream to Clay White, or Lavender to Rose Pink, and the phone and printer read as one set rather than two devices.
Omar Saheb, Vice President of Marketing and Online Business at Samsung Electronics MENA, said: “Instax printers are no longer just nostalgic collectibles, they have become part of a shift in how people approach photography. With the Galaxy Z Fold8’s content-native shape and technology paired with Instax Mini Link 3™, that creativity becomes something you can hold, share and keep.”
Shin Tagawa, Managing Director at FUJIFILM Middle East FZE commented:
“Younger generations are creating and sharing more photos digitally than ever, but we are also seeing a growing desire to turn those moments into printed photos they can hold and keep. That is what makes this collaboration with Samsung so relevant. Together, the Galaxy Z Fold8 and INSTAX mini Link 3™ make it easy to take a moment from the screen and turn it into something you can hold, share and keep.”
