King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language launches educational YouTube channel, ‘Arabic for the World.’
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has launched ‘Arabic for the World’, an educational YouTube channel dedicated to teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. Learners will have access to effective, enriching, simplified, and modern educational Arabic content that covers aspects of daily life, communicative situations, and learning strategies, in addition to giving viewers a glimpse of Saudi culture through a clear and simplified language, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Arabic for the World, offers over 100 diverse educational short videos divided across five tracks, making it simpler for viewers to access their preferred topics. The content has been developed and curated in collaboration with Saudi professionals specialized in teaching Arabic as a second language and reviewed by a team of linguistics experts. Professional presenters deliver the content in an unconventional form.
The channel will present educational content across five tracks: “Arabic Around Me”, “Arabic for Communication”, “Creative Arabic”, “Your Guide to Learning Arabic”, and “Arab Culture”. Through these tracks, non-native speakers can learn Arabic through real-life everyday situations, enriching their linguistic abilities with vocabulary, structures and expressions applicable to everyday scenarios. They will also be able to effectively communicate in various situations they may encounter and discover the unique characteristics that define the Arabic language while appreciating its aesthetic qualities. The content will also support Arabic language learners in blending in with Arab communities. The channel will create a visually engaging educational and enriching language learning model that simplifies the Arabic language for non-native learners making it accessible to them on YouTube, serving as a global guide that enriches Arabic content for non-native Arabic language and culture enthusiasts.
