Breast cancer is considered one of the most important health issues that must be paid attention to and focused on, and all capabilities must be harnessed in order to encourage early detection, conduct periodic examinations, and reduce, the complications of the disease
In the spirit of social responsibility, Shaza Makkah held an internal communication event (awareness session) about breast cancer, with the participation of a specialist who presented the guidance and awareness guide for early screening, to enhance the dissemination of culture among our employees, and to support breast cancer fighters
During the awareness session, educational leaflets were distributed and we carried out a variety of activities, including entertaining competitions to add fun, and explaining methods of self-detection, while emphasizing the possibility of recovery when the disease is detected in its early stages through examinations and early detection
On the other hand, Shaza Riyadh hosted a gathering in the garden that feature multiple cases of breast cancer fighters and survivals to showcase their cases, the value of the prevention, early detection, methods of healing, and giving positive messages
“Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, and it’s important to raise awareness about this disease so that people can take steps to protect themselves and their loved ones,” said Haythem Al Ayoubi, the General Manager at Shaza Riyadh. “This gathering is a great opportunity for people to learn more about breast cancer and to connect with others who have been affected by the disease”
