The Concept EQG gives a promising preview of the capabilities of a Mercedes-Benz G-Class with battery-electric drive.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">As engineers work on the production ready EQG, Mercedes-Benz is taking the concept version around the globe, including the Middle East.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">The Concept EQG takes the iconic design of the G-Class into the future by maintaining the G-Class DNA \u2013 while bringing it into the EQ age. It features an attractive two-tone paint finish \u2013 gloss black on top, gloss aluminum beam on the bottom and a continuous deep black radiator grille.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">In terms of performance, it combines visions of an all-electric future with uncompromising off-road qualities \u2013 making it a true &#8216;G&#8217; through and through. The 4&#215;4 qualities of the &#8216;G&#8217;, which have always set the highest standard, will not only find their way into the age of electric mobility, but you can expect further development in some areas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Wherever market conditions permit, Mercedes-Benz will be ready to go fully electric by the end of the decade,&#8221; emphasises Markus Sch\u00e4fer, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and COO of Mercedes-Benz Cars. &#8220;With this strategic step from &#8216;Electric first&#8217; to &#8216;Electric only&#8217;, including sustainable production and the CO2-neutral life cycle of our batteries, we are accelerating the transformation to a zero-emission and software-driven future.
