Representatives from G42 Healthcare and AWS attended the signing\nceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Transitioning from localized biological\nsamples tucked away in biobanks to high-quality omics data and insight at scale\nis transforming population health, precision medicine, life science R&amp;D,\nand agriculture. Unlocking the potential of such bioresource is costly and\ncomplex, needing major investment and often hard to get expertise. The G42\nHealthcare &#8211; AWS initiative is about enabling this value swiftly, safely, reliably,\nand in an affordable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">G42 Healthcare owns the region\u2019s\nlargest Omics Centre of Omics Excellence in Abu Dhabi, which can deliver over\n500,000 whole-genome sequences per year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ashish Koshy,\nG42 Healthcare\u2019s CEO<\/strong> said: \u201cAbu Dhabi is just a 4-hour flight away from about 33% of\nthe world, and 80% of the world is reachable with an 8-hour flight.
