Nissan Saudi Arabia today announced changes in the leadership team that will drive growth in KSA and the Middle East. Bader El Houssami, previously Nissan KSA\u2019s Managing Director has been appointed as Africa, Middle East, India, and Oceania region (AMIO) Business Development Director. Adib Takieddine, previously Sales Operations, Vehicle Volume Management & Corporate Planning Director at Nissan Middle East, has taken over the role of Nissan Saudi Arabia Managing Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both Houssami and Takieddine assumed\ntheir new roles as of July 1st<\/sup>, 2022. Takieddine will be responsible\nfor managing the daily operational functions, as well as leading the business\nstrategy and overseeing the performance of Nissan in the Saudi market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI am humbled to be taking on this\nnew role that will enable me to continue contributing to Nissan\u2019s growth not\nonly in Saudi Arabia but in the wider region. I\u2019m looking forward to working together with the team\nto ensure the company\u2019s continued growth and success in the Kingdom as well as\nthe expansion of Nissan\u2019s business partnership network.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n Takieddine joined Nissan and Infiniti in 2014, where he\nwas leading the Sales and Network Development operations at Infiniti Middle\nEast, before he became the General Manager of the division in 2017. He was then\nappointed General Manager – Sales for the Gulf region at Nissan Middle East. A\nyear later, Takieddine was promoted to Director of Sales operations at Nissan\nMiddle East. After demonstrating an impressive track record in growing the\nNissan business in the region, he then took on the position of Director of\nSales Operations, Vehicle Volume Management and Corporate planning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Thierry Sabbagh,\nPresident of Nissan Saudi Arabia, INFINITI Middle East and Managing Director of\nNissan Middle East, said: \u201cThe Saudi market continues to be a priority market\nfor us at Nissan in the region given our strong heritage in the Kingdom dates\nback to the 1950\u2019s. We are excited to see all he will accomplish in\nhis new role as AMIO Business Development Director.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prior to joining\nNissan Middle East where he was responsible for managing all sales operations\nfor the brand across the Gulf and Levant markets, Takieddine began his career\nin 2006 with General Motors where he accumulated his extensive automotive experience\nacross various functions including aftersales, sales and marketing divisions, and made\nsignificant achievements in terms of market share growth, efficiency, and\nprofitability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n With these new\nappointments, Nissan Saudi Arabia continues to drive greater collaborations and\naccelerate business growth with their partners of success.
