<\/strong>Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), through its ICT Department, has recently finished implementing an enterprise virtualization platform in cooperation with Nutanix, a leader in hybrid multicloud computing, to improve infrastructure performance and scalability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The decision was taken to update the Organization\u2019s virtualization\ninfrastructure which was initially built under the direction of HE Dr. Talal\nAbu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, fifteen years ago to\nimplement private cloud services to all of the TAG.Global\u2019s businesses and\nservices throughout offices across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mr. Khaldon Atieh, TAG.Global ICT Executive Director, said, \u201cAfter\ngreat deliberation and careful planning, we took the decision to upgrade our\ncurrent cloud offering by implementing Nutanix AHV. Our growing number of\noffices and greater demand for ICT services as a result of the digital\ntransformation we are currently undergoing, meant that we had to look into\nstreamlining operations and implement a scalable solution to continue\ndelivering reliable ICT services to our 110+ offices around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delivering ICT services was a challenge due to the three-tier\ninfrastructure architecture implemented in TAG.Global which was becoming\ncumbersome to administer and manage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mr. Khaldon Atieh, added, \u201cTAG.Global relies heavily on ICT for\nits daily operations. We must ensure that we are constantly able to deliver\nreliable services at all times to keep business-critical applications\noperational. This was becoming challenging using a traditional three-tier\narchitecture which was starting to introduce greater management complexity.\nMoving to Nutanix AHV will allow us to boost performance across all our\napplications, as well as introduce greater security and scalability across all\nsystems.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n He went on to say, \u201cPreviously, we would spend considerable time\nand resources on upgrades and updates and had to constantly keep track of\nlicense renewals. With Nutanix AHV, we can now simplify management and expand\nour environment with ease.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Implementing the new solution has given TAG.Global\u2019s ICT\nDepartment the confidence to move forward and look into establishing public\ncloud services for customers, which will include Network-as-a-Service,\nSolution-as-a-Service, and website hosting offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are very proud that our virtualization solution has improved\nperformance of TAG.Global\u2019s mission-critical applications and reduced\noperational complexities, and thus played an important role in the digital\ntransformation initiatives of the Group.
