Riyadh, Saudi Arabia <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the patronage of Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), Singapore\u2019s prestigious Global Schools Foundation is opening its first school campus in the Saudi capital in September 2022. The One World International S<\/strong>chool (OWIS) will be the fourth school to be established in Riyadh under the RCRC\u2019s International Schools Attraction Program, an initiative to bring international schools to the Saudi capital in partnership with the Kingdom\u2019s Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The international schools\nattracted by the program add diversity to Riyadh\u2019s education system and\nrepresent globally recognised curricula, teaching and learning systems, offering\nexperience-based best practices. The International Schools Attraction Program\nis part of the Kingdom’s Regional Headquarter (RHQ) Program, which incentivizes\ncompanies to set up their regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia. To date, 44\nglobal companies have received licences to move their regional headquarters to\nthe capital city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mazen Tammar, Head of Education\nSector at the RCRC<\/strong>, said: \u201cAttracting prestigious global institutions such as the\nOWIS is a big part of how Riyadh is creating a world-class education ecosystem.\nThis is a significant milestone in improving educational opportunities for all\nRiyadh residents. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Global Schools Foundation\n(GSF)<\/strong> currently operates 26 campuses in eight countries with a strength of\nover 25,000 students from 70 nationalities. Recognized as the world’s most\nawarded network of schools by the World Book of Records, London UK &\nSwitzerland in 2021, GSF received 350 international awards in educational\nexcellence, health and safety, social & emotional learning, and\norganisational excellence from world\u2019s leading award bodies.
