Currently in the pipeline, in line with Autism Awareness month,\nis Mountain Boy<\/em>, a live-action feature film based on the award-winning\nUAE children\u2019s\nbook The Boy Who Knew the Mountains<\/em>written by Emirati-Australian\nauthor Dr. Michele Ziolkowski. Ostracized by villagers who don\u2019t understand his differences, a\nyoung boy with Autism lives alone in the mountains of Fujairah. His special\naffinity for the environment and his super ability to make sense of the natural\nworld takes him on adventures throughout the UAE. Using his rare talents to\nhelp people around the country, he gains the confidence he needs to return to\nhis family. In line with DRF\u2019s mission to support and champion local talent,\nthe film includes participation from Emirati Director Eman Al Sayed and Emirati\nProducer Raihana Al Hashmi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DRF is also a hub for incubating untapped creatives. Its\nestablished mentorship programme brings the most discerning talents in the\nindustry together. DRF takes pride in giving people, from all backgrounds, the\nright skills, expertise and space to amplify their potential and thrive. This\nis an opportunity for anyone with a story to tell, to learn and lead with a\nteam who amplify potential and bring visions to life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe positive impact our work has\nmade already is only the tip of the iceberg.
