In line with Saudi Vision 2030\u201d, Al Borg\nDiagnostics, which harbors one of the largest chains of Medical Labs in the\nKingdom of Saudi Arabia, initiated Al Borg Med-Tech Accelerator program in\nJanuary 2021, as part of its social responsibility towards youth empowerment,\ninnovation fostering, intellectual property, and the localization of\ntechnologies, with the aim of improving health care services.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The board of directors generously allocated\n1 million dollars annually in support of the program working towards social and\neconomic development, health care innovation, accelerator programs,\nentrepreneurship, and providing common workspace and relevant training programs\nfor a period of 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We started our Accelerator program in\nJanuary 2021 and out of 100 local and multinational startups applications we\nselected 32 startups based on selection criteria in the following categories;\nhealth insurance and financial technology, logistic services, health care,\nartificial intelligence, transport and tracking system, remote diagnosis and\nconsultations, domestic care, urgent care, pharmacy, and 3D printing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al Borg Diagnostics has contracted with\nservice providers and consultants from inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi\nArabia to implement the program, provide acceptance services, filter\napplicants, set standards, match levels, and to provide remote guidance,\ncounseling services, write and prepare investment memos, and prepare the\nstartups to be introduced to investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This opportunity has provided a great chance\nto the startup companies that have joined the Accelerator program.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Monday 17 January 2022, 9 nominated\nstartups from different geographical locations within the GCC and North Africa\nwill be preparing their startups to pitch in front of investors and competing for\nAl Borg\u2019s first, second, and third prize, at Crown Plaza Riyadh RDC.
