The annual ‘Amazing ASEAN’ extravaganza of the best products from eight the ASEAN countries was inaugurated today at two locations of the LuLu Hypermarket Saudi Arabia. In the in Avenue Mall, Murabba, Riyadh, there were eight with eight Ambassadors and senior management of LuLu Group attending the grand opening. In the LuLu Hypermarket in Amir Fawaz, Jeddah there were three Jeddah-based ASEAN diplomats and senior management of LuLu Group attending.
The popular festival brings a wide range of everyday essentials, grocery, exotic fruits and veg and frozen and chilled foods, fresh deli items as well as non-food items and household and home furnishing from the ASEAN region, which is known for its agricultural diversity, seafood and excellent quality of non-food items.
Over 5000 6,200 product lines from the the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia are set to wow shoppers with their variety, exotic appeal of their food items and durability of non-food products.
Present at the Riyadh inauguration of ‘Amazing ASEAN’ were the diplomats of the eight ASEAN countries represented in the grand promotion: H.E. Dato Yusoff bin Ismail, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Mr. Dang Xuan Dung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, H.E. Tin Yu, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, H.E. Mr. Wong Chow Ming, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore, H.E. Mr. Arief Hidayat, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Amirulhusni bin Sahar, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Embassy of Malaysia, Mr Rommel Romato, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines and H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Chargé d’Affaires (Minister), Royal Thai Embassy. They were welcomed by Mr. Mr. Shehim Muhammed-Director of LuLu Group KSA and senior management of the Hypermarket.
In Jeddah, the inauguration was attended by H.E. Edgar Tomas Q. Auxlian, Consul General of the Republic of the Philippines in Jeddah, H.E. Eko Hartono, Consul general of Indonesia in Jeddah and H.E. Farah Syafina Bahiri, Consul of the Malaysian Consulate in Jeddah who were warmly welcomed by LuLu senior management in Jeddah.
The ‘Amazing ASEAN’ festival will run till August 9 and offers great deals and promotions to shoppers.
